2025-2026 Caribou County Fair and Rodeo Queen Royalty Pageant Contract
The 2025-2026 Caribou County Fair and Rodeo Queen, Junior, Princess and Pee-wee Princess will be obligated to represent the Caribou County Fair and Rodeo from the time the title is won at the 2025 CCFR through the time the event is held and new winners are announced at the end of 2026 CCFR week. All title holders are expected to appear groomed and looking their best while wearing modest western clothing (“Official Western Dress”), their crown, sash and buckle when appearing and making representations as CCFR Rodeo Royalty. Title holders are expected to appear this way at all times when they are at the Caribou County Fair & Rodeo or required public appearances.
The Queen is responsible for being the goodwill ambassador for the Rodeo, the Fair, and the agricultural lifestyle they promote. The Queen is the face and inspiration of the Fair and Rodeo, and she is expected to serve at orchestrated appearances, including fundraisers, autograph signings, speeches, community service events, meet-and-greets, and numerous rodeos. The Queen is expected to communicate effectively with various groups of people, including children, adults, Fair and Rodeo enthusiasts, and Fair and Rodeo detractors. The Queen must handle herself with style, dignity, and grace.The Queen must understand that she is a role model. Children’s interactions with the Queen can be pivotal in pursuing rodeo, ranching, agriculture, livestock involvement, etc. The Queen’s ability to competently represent the sport of professional rodeo provides further credibility to the sport where many men and women make their living. The Queen must be a humble servant and continually seek ways to help others.
As representatives of the Caribou County Fair and Rodeo, title holders will:
• Exhibit good, honest and positive behavior at all times.
• Refrain from using profanity and inappropriate language.
• Refrain from smoking, drinking alcohol and/or using illegal substances.
• Not become engaged, married or pregnant during the term of title reign.
• Not exhibit public displays of affection with a boyfriend or companion of that nature.
• Queen’s will NOT compete for any other royalty titles during her reign, however attendants, and princess’ may compete for another title as long as they can still complete all of the required obligations for their title.
• Not create social media accounts using the CCFR title.
The following representations by 2025-2026 CCFR Queen and Junior Queen Royalty are required but not limited to:
• 2025 & 2026 Caribou County Rodeo Queen Orientation
• 2025 & 2026 Caribou County Fair Week and Rodeo performances
• 2025 Royalty Photo Session During Fair Week
• 2025 & 2026 Kids Parade at the Caribou County Fair
• 2025 & 2026 Regular Caribou County Fair week Parade
• 2026 Soda Springs Idaho 4th of July Parade
• 2026 Bancroft Idaho 24th Of July Parade ***

• 2025 & 2026 Caribou County Rodeo Queen Coronation
• 2025 & 2026 Media Production dates TBD
• Attend At least 2 other Visiting royalty appearances of your choice. Images of appearances must be sent to the Rodeo Queen board for marketing.

In addition to attending these mandatory functions, I also agree:
*To ride the same horse I used for the competition for all appearances during my reign, unless approved by the Rodeo Queen Committee at least 24-48 hrs prior to appearances.
* I will wear my crown, sash and buckle at all functions.
* I will be responsible for all my own expenses while serving in this position.
* I will have a pre-arranged chaperone at events, which is usually a parent or guardian.
* I will maintain close contact with the CCFR Royalty committee chair and assistants, providing visiting royalty appearances photos and experiences to be shared for the media when appropriate.
* I will dress in western attire and represent the rodeo industry in a professional, courteous manner - always maintaining high moral character.
* I will be open and friendly to the general public and I am willing to help promote the CCFR and the entire sport of rodeo.
* I will be on time to all events and functions.
* I will strive to improve my skills in the rodeo events that I participate in, plus work on my horsemanship, riding ability, appearance and personality.
* I will not drink alcoholic beverages or take illegal drugs (including tobacco products) at any time during my term as CCFR royalty.
* I will keep all Social Media that I am involved with appropriate and positive (even if it is not rodeo related).
* I will assist with providing information for the CCFR Queen Royalty social media accounts.
* I will assist in whatever the CCFR Queen board needs help with during the week of the Caribou County Fair.
* I will return to the 2026 CCFR to complete my reign and act as hostess to visitors and next year’s royalty contestants.
If crowned as Royalty, I understand that I may receive these traveling items: Chaps and serape that will be passed on to the next year's royalty. If these items are not returned the final night of 2026 fair week in similar condition, each member of the royalty will be responsible to replace these items at the cash value as listed:
Chaps - Value $875
Serape - Value $450
If at any point in the year of my reign, I am unable to fulfill the above requirements of the Caribou County Fair & Rodeo Queen Royalty, I will be required to return all prizes, awards and/or scholarship money awarded to myself during the title I hold. If I am forfeiting my title, I will be expected to pay a fine of $100 and if I am not able to return above mentioned items, I will be held responsible to replace or pay cash value for them in addition to the fine. The Title and prizes will then be passed on to the next contestant in line.
Title holders and/or their designated guardians should always first contact the CCFR Rodeo Queen Royalty Coordinator/Chairperson with any questions or issues.

If for some reason I cannot fulfill my duties as a title holder, I understand that I will have to forfeit my title and return my prizes and awards.
